Fall 2020 Engagement Scholarship Recipient
This semester, I am interning at The Arc Minnesota as their digital and graphic design intern. It has been a little bit of a challenge since everything has moved online, but nonetheless, it has been a great experience so far with the company. I am currently working on a few social media assets for my marketing team and creating a few designs for our programs.
I am thankful for the PES Engagement Scholarship because it has helped relieve a lot of the financial stress I need to fund for school and my internship. As their graphic designer and a full-time student, I rely heavily on the internet and my design software. These things can add up pretty fast and cost a lot over time. Transitioning to a remote platform for school also makes it a little more difficult to fully engage. The scholarship has helped supply me with a lot of the resources I need to be successful. It helped pay for things such as the Adobe Creative Suite and the internet. This scholarship helped ease a lot of my financial stress and helped encourage me to fully engage in my designs and studies to my full potential!
